Introduction

Although not mandatory, by far the easiest way to track your ridden rides on WhatsOnFULGAZ is to configure Fulgaz synchronisation. With this enabled, whenever you complete a ride on Fulgaz and then visit this site, your ridden rides are automatically marked.

If you prefer not to link to Fulgaz no problem, you can still search for and tag your ridden rides manually by clicking the medal icon in a ride card.

NOTE: Fulgaz sync will only ever tag new ridden rides as it finds them. It will never un-tag any rides.

Set-up

Ensure you have registered on WOFG with either a Google account or email then sign in. Fulgaz sync is only available to signed in users as it needs to know whose rides to update.

Ensure you have a Strava account and it's connected to Fulgaz. Further details on how to connect are available here

You must ride (or have ridden previously) the Packer Park Velodrome ride in Australia and ticked "Upload Challenge" so your ride is uploaded to the Challenge List. This ride was chosen because its both short and level - only 0.71km long. WOFG looks for your user details in the challenge list for this ride, so if you've never done it and uploaded to challenge, ensure you do so with your Strava account connected to Fulgaz before continuing.

Click the "Link Fulgaz" menu option to open the configuration dialog. Confirm you've completed the ride and uploaded to Challenge List, then click the Next button.

Enter your first name, last name and Strava athlete id. You can find your athlete id by logging into your Strava account, viewing your profile and making a note of the number in the browser URL e.g. www.strava.com/athletes/{athlete id here} Then click the "Link accounts" button.

If all goes to plan you will see a green success message. Congratulations, you're now syncing your WOFG rides from Fulgaz.

If you see a red error message, confirm your Fulgaz and Strava accounts are linked, you've ridden Packer Park Velodrome and selected "Upload Challenge" once the ride is finished. Then try again.

If after trying all the above it still doesn't connect, email your profile details to support@whatsonfulgaz.com and I'll investigate.

Removing the Fulgaz link

If you decide you no longer want to sync rides from Fulgaz, click the "Unlink Fulgaz" menu option. This will remove the Fulgaz sync and revert you to a manual user. From now on you will need to search for rides and click the medal icon to mark them. You can repeat the setup process at any time to re-enable the sync.
